That's $1600 (USD) for 350Mhz cpu, only 10GB hdd, and without a monitor,
DVD-player but *no* CD burner, with PC-133 512mb ram (maximum limit 1GB
ram), AGP 2x for the PPC in 1998/1999. No monitor.

I paid around $1500 (CDN) for a 1000MHz cpu, 80GB hdd, cd-burner, PC-133
512mb ram (maximum 3GB ram), AGP 4x, WinME configuration including the
21" CRT monitor in 1999.

So.. the pc version provided quite a bit more bang for the buck even
without a DVD-player.
