That's $1600 (USD) for 350Mhz cpu, only 10GB hdd, and without a monitor, DVD-player but *no* CD burner, with PC-133 512mb ram (maximum limit 1GB ram), AGP 2x for the PPC in 1998/1999. No monitor. I paid around $1500 (CDN) for a 1000MHz cpu, 80GB hdd, cd-burner, PC-133 512mb ram (maximum 3GB ram), AGP 4x, WinME configuration including the 21" CRT monitor in 1999. So.. the pc version provided quite a bit more bang for the buck even without a DVD-player. --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 (Windows/20100228)* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
