What exactly is the task that you are referring to? Please read the above 
question again.

If the task is to run CC65 programs on the Apple II the Aztec C shells will 
launch these.

The Aztec C shell offers a command-line-interface (CLI) with a unix-like 
flavour.

The Aztec C shell is available for both ProDOS and DOS 3.3.

I think I answered the question very clearly.

I am however not sure what the question has to do with the other question 
that was asked in the subject line or indeed how either Apple Commander or 
a2tools can run programs on the Apple II. The versions of each that I use 
here run in Windows not on the Apple II.
