Nope, just acknowledging the fact that for those who don't mind being tied
to a specific operating environment, the Winmodem could well be a
cost-effective alternative to a conventional modem, although I certainly
wouldn't buy one.

Agree 100% re RPI, but the Winmodem is a valid alternative IMO.  Anyway, as
an OS/2 user, the argument is pretty academic from my POV...
