I doubt with Dave's Drinking and drug problem back then that he would have 
lasted much longer.  Kirk IMHO, is a better guitarist than Dave.  He's a good 
rhythm guitarist and songwriter, but his leads leave something to be desired. 
He's lucky he has Marty.  I do prefer Kirks work pre-Justice, he sorta copped 
out on his leads with the last two albums.  He won't even admit taking 
essons
from Joe Satraini anymore.  Oh well.
