I was going to, but I was begged not to... by my father (a REAL war
hero who received a battlefield commission in WWII and served for
28 years before ill health forced him to leave the military)...
You see, the lying no-good-nik is my own delusional big brother --
and, as it turns out, his war stories were ripped off from my father,
but changed to VN locales. Guess which brother WON'T be inheriting
my father's medals when he passes away?
I embarrassed him big-time in front of his in-laws over the whole
sordid affair -- upon viewing his fake commendations for the first
time following my mother's funeral, I vocalized my disgust & outrage
and called it the crock it was -- right in front of his MIL & FIL...
I understand from my other brothers, that he took down all the phony
commendations after that and no longer tries to "pass"... *BUT*, I'm
still angry about his sick deception. I'm disgusted to be sharing
genetic material with my brother -- he's always been an idiot, but
I never knew how low he could sink until I saw his wall of shame,
proudly displaying his dime-store decorations... UGH!!!
In case you're wondering, I'm estranged from this brother. I want
nothing to do with him and I never seek him out. YUCK!!!
