DH> We had some ice last week but it melted. Now the rainbow trout are
DH> running up the Huron River so I'm fishing there. There are some
DH> other guys fishing there, but I'm the only one eating peanuts.
MK> Been a really weird "winter".
MK> Rainbows eh? Sounds like fun. Catching any?
MK> Myself I am planning to get some fishing in very soon. My bud from
MK> Louisiana is headed this way and the plan is to fish till we drop.
A cold wave moved into Detroit, Michigan USA last week so I didn't go
fishing this weekend. Spring is definately here though, my tulips started
growing. If there comes a sunny afternoon I'll try fishing for
rainbow trout again. There is another place where I saw carp. I'll
try them also.
Did you see on TV Jimmy Houston interviewed a guy who caught an 18 pound
largemouth bass 42 feet deep in January in Texas? I knew bass move into
deep water in the Winter but I thought they suspend about 10 feet
(3 meters) deep.
... golf is a waste of a perfectly good fishin' day
