RW> TW> A used to Love Hard Work and the pride of Accomplishment. And two pf
RW> TW> the things thing I have lost is the Ability to work on Cars and Help
RW> TW> in Maintenance out at the Campo Railroad Museum Facility. There is a
RW> TW> point in life where both Mental and Physical abilities place severe
RW> TW> limits on what one can do despite the "State of
Mind" :-) :-)

RW>I went down to Jay Emrie's place in San Antonio a few months back. He gave
RW>me a modem that he was no longer using. I remember he stated many times in
RW>the AUTOMOTIVE echo that he could no longer work on his vehicles at the
RW>age of 80. He'd have his sons work on it while he supervised. Seeing his
RW>condition in person told me why. He didn't look 80, but he has diabetes
RW>and he can barely walk now. I suspect he'll go like most diabetics I've
RW>known, piece by piece.

That was tjhe Saddest thing I had to watch at the VA Medical Center when
I worked there. Seeing the "Old Soldiers" being literaly eaten up by
Diabetes. :-( :-( :-(

Thanks for the report. I miss his posts.
