 Obama is far left only when measured against those of you who
 are far right. He gives in to the conservative view all too
 often.

 Not exactly true. Unions have a claim against the company as
 much as anyone else. The Unions got their share as part of the
 divestiture of the retiree medical burden. That was put on a
 fund run by the unions. Everything else is open.

 The unions don't really have anything in GM. The medical fund
 does not benefit the union, but the retirees. And that fund has
 GM stock in it, so the workers have more incentive to make the
 company succeed. If it doesn't the medical fund goes away.
