Hi, James- JC> I've lost a lot of Mystic BBS code over the years from the same thing. :( I think that's how a -lot- of BBS-related code over the years has disappeared over the years, myself included. It's not fun. I remember reading an ad in Home Computing many, many years ago, sandwiched in between all the code listings in the back of the magazine, for "The Programmer's Towel". Its schtick was you were supposed to cry on it when you irrevocably lost your code. :D JC> Which reminds me that I need to work on rebuilding the web side... What stinks is having to restart all over again from scratch when you know you've done all of that work before. That's irked me several times even with my simple programs! JC> PS - Sorry about not having real names turned on here JC> last time I posted. I knew the rules, I just failed in execution. :) No problem. That's why it was a "gentle" reminder. :) Thankfully, I rarely have to put on my moderator's hat in any of my echoes anymore. I just poke gently with a sharp stick every so often, heheh. Later, Sean P.S. If you ever are interested in compiling an OS/2 version and need development tools, just shoot me a netmail or email. I'll help as much as I can. --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Outpost BBS - outpost.slyip.net (1:18/200) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 101 620 848 @PATH: 18/200 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
