True, practice on something that he can't harm.  But I have a '84 
Reliant with 246k miles on it.  Would I restore it to showroom floor 
quality?  No way!!!!!  I think in another year I will be taking it back 
to the junkyard.  I bought it from the junkyard, it was totaled in the 
front end by a deer.
I would rather wrench on a Mopar than a GM any day.  I had a '78 Olds 
Delta 88 for 4 months.  The engine blew after I got stuck a few many 
times in this hick town.  They don't like to plow around here.  The V-8 
in my Dodge Magnum was easier to work on than the V-8 in the Olds.  I 
inherited a '84 Olds Omega, I'm going to ditch it as soon as I find a 
mini-van to replace it.  My grandmother threatened to disown me if I 
did....I thought to myself "Is that a promise?"  
The engine swap isn't done.  The stock car isn't done yet.  As soon as 
that is done, then we can do the engine swap.  I can't wait!!!
