 Uh... Tom... if you are going to fire someone, that is how you
 do it. You don't keep him hanging around for the next 30 days,
 waiting for his time to run out. If you do you have a
 disgruntled employee still in a position of authority. If you do
 it you do it quickly and straight out. In this case, 30 days
 suspension with pay.
