Truckers still use them, but it's not like the 70s or 80s when it was busy.  I 
do have a CB in my car on a quick release mount so mainly it's just in when I 
get on the highway or the mood strikes me to take it.

If the band is open you hear quite a bit of DXing going on, and a lot of 
nonsence, but it can't be fun to listen to at times, and some times just... 
bad...  channel 6 and 11 seem to be the most used on AM, and LSB on 38 for DX.
