Rear panels and tailights too. Firebirds stopped being Firebirds when they
stopped putting Pontiac engines in them. Especially in California, they
used Oldsmobile engines from 1975-76 on because the Pontiac engine
couldn't pass California smog muster. The 3rd gen Firebird used the Chevy
V8, as did the 4th gen Firebird. Thankfully the Firebird died and will
never return, although the Camaro has.
