I made a round trip from California to the St Louis Area in a Ford Pinto
Station wagin one time. NOT a bad trip. On the return trip in Vega Texas
I had a cooling system gasket go out on me. Fortunatly I could walk to a
autoparts store. He didn't have the sctual gasket but gave me a piece
of sheet gasket and I made one using a Hammer. Dazled the hell out of
the wife and while she waited for the repair to be done she amused
herself by throwing a Can so a Junk Yard dog on the other side of the
fence we parked next to could run and get it and bring it back for
another toss.
