The first UPS I bought didn't have the option to replace the battery in it,
so I bought another one when it quit working.
When the second unit quit I got one a little larger in capacity that the
battery could be replaced when the battery failed.
I wouldn't think there would be much inprovement in a newer UPS of the
same size as mine. Enlighten Me because I don't know it all. Thanks.
Yesterday I looked in my junk pile for the two old UPS's and I saw that
the second UPS DID have a door to replace the battery in it. DUH!!!!!!!
It took me five years to learn that door was on the back of it.
Guess I will never become Mr. Know It All if I keep doing things that way.
I will look at the specs. for the one I'm using to see if the same size UPS
has different specs., Thanks!
... Have you checked your smoke detector batteries & Fire Ext, LATELY?!
