RC> Do you recall which version(s) you were using? Because a fix was RC> included for the issue in v0.7, which was released in December of RC> 2011... No I don't. It was the last version that hadn't been touched in years before someone else picked it up. Oddly enough, most of the Tinytic auto-posts in the file announcement echos are still using it. I don't think I've seen a v0.7 being used yet. It would be nice to see if that fixed the issue, although I don't remember it ever actually being "fixed." It was definitely "addressed" though, but it was still quirky. RC> The changes since then have been things like the build system or docs RC> changes. Plus I've done a bit of work for Debian/Ubuntu packaging. Ah okay. Well at least someone is doing something, rather than letting the code rot somewhere. RC> Exactly why I started working on it myself; it's not enough for things RC> like my hub system but it works quite well for points or the private node RC> I was running on my netbook (before the hardware failure, was running RC> Crashmail, BinkD, TinyTIC, JamNNTPd, GoldED...). I'm currently working on another full blown system in a VM that will eventually become a node in every network I'm involved with. When that happens (if the developer hasn't included a file/tic processor yet), I'll definitely take another look at Tinytic and see if I can help out in any way.
