Three things will affect function in a semiauto pistol:
        1. Magazine and feed ramp. The Ruger MK II (and most other
autopistols) is designed for the .22 Long Rifle. The solution
here is to use CB caps in .22 LR cases -- which are available.
        2. Bolt mass. The lower impulse will require a less massive
bolt. What you'd have to do is skeletonize the bolt -- which
would ruin it for use with standard ammo. But you COULD order a
bolt from Ruger and skeletonize it for CB caps, keeping your
        original bolt for regular ammo.
        3. Recoil spring. The answer here is to get a weaker spring.
You'd need to apply all three of these "fixes" to get your Ruger to
shoot CB caps semi-automatically.
