 You are paying for it anyway. Every American made product you
 buy pays for social security through payroll taxes added on to
 the price of the product. Every American made product sold in
 Europe or parts of Asia gets taxed when it arrives there. Every
 product imported from a country that does not have a social
 security system costs American jobs.

 If you think it's a stupid mistake, don't accept social
 security, or medicare for that matter. They both happen to be
 very successful programs.
