Hello All!

This might not mean anything for those using my Fidonet Via News Reader
setup and it wont mean anything for those whom are not.

I have made a couple settings changes to the server.

A.

The server was set to allow 20 simultaneous connections, I changed this number to 50.

Note:

I dont have 50 users yet, close, as of 06/29/08, it sits at 46. Even so,
not all are active at any given time, although I do have a few whom camp
out. I decided to up this number to insure that no one gets denied a
connection because the server was full up under the old number.

B.

REPLYADDR Kludge..

I have set the server to not import into Fidonet messages, the users Email
Address as reported by their reader (user agent). This means that within
the message control lines, it will be absent, most of you cannot ordinarily
see these lines unless you toggled the full header view, but legacy Fidonet
readers could see these lines.

This should help protect your email address from falling into the wrong
hands, should you also use the same reader to do email with, such as those
of you whom use Mozilla Thunderbird or MS Outlook Express. Of course I
cannot protect your email address if you decide to insert it within the
message body, header, footer, sig/tag lines of your messages.


C.

I have increased the membership fee accordingly..
