Hi! Holger, On Sat, 29 Aug 15, you wrote to me: HG> Good afternoon Paul, Thank you. It's another gorgeous day in the sunshine state. Very much like a cool summer's day even though we're just near the end of winter. Good morning to you, Holger. :) (I'm taking a punt on the travel time over your copper wire.) HG> Yes, it seems to be quite versatile but I don't know if it existed HG> when I needed a point program for my office machine with WFWG 3.11 HG> system. I just had a quick squiz at a .BMP I snapped of my old WFWG 3.11 desktop... (Actually the desktop was a project by some IBM fellers and was based on the OS/2 Warp 3.x *live* desktop manager ['live' long before Win9x came along with its live desktop].) Anyway... I was using a terminal program called Microlink. It was a beaut little proggie that I originally started using on our first computer, a '286/12MHz job running Win3.1. I was still doing BlueWave 2.02 as well in those days, last century. I can't recall when I started using SemPoint, though the archive in my filebase is dated October 2002 which might be a clue as to when I downloaded it. I've been using it & other sysop readers, and NNTP, since then. As you can see herewith, it's still doing sterling service. It's a 16-bit Windows application and would have run nicely in WFWG, I'm sure. Cheers, Paul. ...
