        I was listening to Art Bell's Dreamland yesterday and he gave
        out some frequencies for the HAARP tests where you can even send
        for a QSL!  HAARP stand for High frequency Active Auroral
        Research Project for those who don't know what HAARP is.  In a
        nutshell, it is intended to heat up the ionosphere so they can
        bounce HF signals off of it to map things beneath the Earth's
        crust and to possibly find underground bunkers along with other
        alledged things like weather manipulation to even mind control.
        Well, there is a date, time and frequencies where you as an
        SWLer and/or ham can receive HAARP.
        The tests are set up to begin at 0430 GMT on March 8th or March
        7th at 23:30 (11:30 PM) for EST in North America.  There will be
        a test with just a carrier and then a CW signal at 10 WPM.

  0435      6.99 MHz   CW signal  Northerly
  0440      6.99 MHz   Carrier    SOUTHEAST (towards US)

  0450      3.4  MHz   Carrier    Northerly
  0455      3.4  MHz   CW signal  Northerly
        So try to hear for the signal AROUND those frequencies.  I'll be
        keeping my DX-440 tuned for it.  IF you want more info, I would

        hear any more info, I'll pass it along.
