If you install the free Samba server on your UNIX system then you can share files to Warp Conect or Merlin systems without any extra cost. Warp Connect and Merlin come with all software needed to communicate with Samba servers. I use Samba all the time and have found it to be fast and reliable. All reports that I have read say that Samba is faster than NFS.
