Actually, the jump will be just as enjoyable -- it's the landing that
will be different.
Years ago, I had a discussion with Hank Arender -- who was the US
parachute champion -- on freefall techniques. Hank pointed out that the
human body is an aerofoil and "a man CAN fly." He paused a moment and
then added "He just has a steep glide angle and a high stall speed." :-)
Reminds me of the Ballad of the Green Berets: "Fearless men who jump
and die."
They wouldn't have that problem if they'd use parachutes. :-)
