You sould have held out a little longer.  SemPoint is *free*, with the
(last ever) version that I have.  Oh well, you would still have been
frustrated as it requires Windows, and I do have to admit, SemPoint is not
a perfect program; it has crashed several times over the years, at times
taking with it some fine echo scribblings I was doing at the time.  :(
