I miss those single-tasking days. If you had a terminal program open, you were
connected to a BBS and the clock was ticking. If you were writing a document,
you were writing a document. If you were in a spreadsheet, well, you get the
point...

Now, with multitaking OSes and windows desktop environments you can have dozens
of tasks competing for your attention. I can't count the number of times I've
had windows open and completely forgotten what I'd intended to do.

I'm typing this in SyncTerm, running in full screen, and this screen is all I
can see. It's refreshing.
