What Win10 Telemetry situation?? Never heard of such a thing.

Well, after all Win3.1 wasn't too bad after all, especially when
upgraded to WFWG 3.11. I skipped the other ones until XP (pro), and then
again skipped all versions until Win10.

 HG> away any of my machines will have any use of what's in them, since the
 HG> pwrd protects both the HD and BIOS.

Doesn't help, since the password is written both to a sector on the HD,
as well as in the BIOS.
