Mmmm ... I've recycled the newspaper now, but the story was about 
an ancient pensioner who'd passed on in the night in a German 
city.  When the authorities got into the apartment they found this 
humungous moggie that weighed 4 or 5 times more than an ordinary 
cat.  It was unable to take more than 5 or 6 steps without 
collapsing,  and the recently departed had been feeding it more 
than 2 kilos of meat a day...

The animal rescue people now have it on a diet.

Uggh !
