subject: BlueWave + RAR archiver

BB> Has anyone succeded using BlueWave v2.30 for DOS under Win95/98/ME
BB> with RAR or WinRAR command line executable?

From Gerais and BR.BBSING (on aug/2002):

-----8<-----
Para o BW funcionar ok com o RAR, deve-se ter o RAR 3.00 disponivel
no path, e acertar em Setup/Configure Mail Reader; Archivers:

AUX Compression RAR.EXE a -y -ep {at}F {at}I
AUX Decompression RAR.EXE e -y {at}F {at}I

Se n„o estiver no path, precisa colocar disco e diretĒrio completos,
p.ex.: c:\arquiv~1\winrar\RAR.EXE ...

Must be 3.x version of RAR (if the BBS door uses that, like here).
2.x is incompatible with new (and better) format of RAR archives.

RAR.EXE is the text mode w32 executable version that comes with
winrar, works ok called from DOS app like BW (or OLMS and FastEcho
here)

RAR 3.x packets with BW are usually 20-40% smaller than ZIP.
