i was afraid it would... that's most likely because i have my system set
for a right margin of 78 whereas most others run 72 or so...

you mean LIST.COM? the above is from LIST.COM... remember, though...
LIST.COM is a /viewer/... it does not edit... it has a hook (via the 'E'
key) whereby you can fire up an editor on the hilited file... i use LIST in
(what i call) "normal" view which is just a plain flat view of
everything... for the above, i hit ALT-H to switch to the hex view which i
then copied and pasted in here...
