Linda Tripp is the lady who started taping the conversations she was
having with Lewinsky and later turned those tapes over to Starr, who
then wired her himself in order to obtain taped evidence admissible in
court. Prior to any of the taping, after Tripp had given congressional
testimony in other matters, Uncle Bob said Tripp wasn't to be believed.
As a consequence, and with prompting from a friend she confided in
concerning what she was hearing, she made sure that wouldn't happen
again. |-)
