Make sure that you install the sound drivers that are in the
x:\os2\drivers\sb16dd (or SB16) directory. Do not use the standard
Windows3.1 drivers.

First, change directories to the system directory for your copy of Windows (I
am using OS/2 3.0 Blue, so that directory is x:\os2\mdos\winos2\system.)
Copy the existing winsock.dll to winsock.old. Next copy the OS/2 VDM version
of winsock.dll from y:\tcpip\dos\bin to this directory. Now you should be
able to run Windows applications that require winsock support. As a reminder
x: is the drive you installed OS/2 and/or Windows to and y: is the drive you
installed tcpip (the Internet Access Kit or Warp's TCP/IP support) to.
