Oh man.....sorry to hear about your misfortunes, Joseph.
Hopefully no one was hurt. Is there no way you can get some compensation from
the developer or builder? It seems like a legal issue to me...IMHO...

I have a '72 model Johnson 50hp that's been sitting on the back of my boat
for about the last 8 years, sometimes covered, sometimes not. I'm looking to
see if it will run again soon. Would you advise tearing it down before
running?
Not even sure it will turn over, the rings are probably stuck to the cylinder
walls after soooo long.
