I'm 31 years old. I've struggled my whole life with ADHD. I've had
successes, and failures in the area of work. What I'd like to know is, is
there any kind of treatment for this thing? Specifically, I'd like to be
able to sit down and learn something 'right now' without having to pretend I
understood everything that someone just told me and then later have to study
for hours to catch up on the subject. I find that I can hold my own under
most circumstances, but recently had a very disapointing failure with a
Systems Engineering Development program which I 'washed out' of. I feel that
I'm capable of doing the work - it's just that I'm slow to learn and slow to
respond to 'the big picture'. I'd like to be able to focus more and
concentrate on those things that are important. Any suggestions/info?
