I had it up to 167x56 with no crash. Can you tell the terminal size with
the program below?

2:37 fidonet{at}blizzard [~/src/termsize]cat termsize.c
#include
#include

int main(void)
{
    int cols, rows;
    initscr();
    cols = COLS;
    rows = LINES;
    endwin();
    printf("Terminal size was %d x %d (cols x rows).\n", cols, rows);
    return 0;
}

2:37 fidonet{at}blizzard [~/src/termsize]cat Makefile
termsize: termsize.c
        gcc -W -Wall -o termsize termsize.c -lcurses -s

It may be possible that Msged crashes when cols or rows > 127 (or maybe > 255).

I wouldn't have thought anybody would try running it in a window much
larger than, say, 130 x 40. Quoted lines in messages will never go beyond
about 75 characters.

I use a 100 x 38 shell (full screen) on a 17" monitor.  My eyesight
isn't great.  8-)
