  I also had a win8 guru go over my windows8 config and he doesn't see a
reason for it not to be working.  Everything is configured correctly.

  Also you are correct I did try the latest beta of Samba for OS/2.

  I'll keep farting around, one day I'll figure it out, or I won't. ;)
