Hello, Paul!
17 Apr 19 08:00, from Paul Quinn -> Andreas Dissel, in URL {at}OFGHIUrl:
AD>> Create a 256 color bitmap (.bmp) of 320x400 and place it into the
AD>> root directory of your bootup hard drive. (typically C:\) (A
AD>> standard 8 bit 256 color is the type to use. Don't use a 16 bit
AD>> (ie.
AD>> 16 million colour pic) because it won't be displayed.)
AD>> Rename the pic to logo.sys
I did the following:
c:\> echo No Logo! > logo.sys
So we have a txt file here, no bmp. W95 tries to load it, failed and the boot
screen is disabled.
Great!
PQ> I hope it helps you, Andreas. Have fun!
Yes, it did. Thanks a lot!
Best Regards, Andreas
