On 01-25-98, KEITH KNAPP declared to ROBERT PLETT:
KK>I seem to recall that when he was confronted with the actual possibility
KK>of an adulterer being stoned to death, he cordially invited anyone
KK>who was without sin to start the proceedings. IOW, he criticized
KK>a rigid doctrinal with the words in a book (biblical literalism?)
In order to make it fit your presuppositions and say what you wish it
to say, you're conveniently overlooking several things about that
narrative, not the least being the glaringly obvious absence of the man
involved in the adulterous act. There are several other obvious points
as well that, to anyone capable of rational thought, clearly show your
conclusions concerning it to be superficial, completely unwarranted, and
flat-out wrong.
However, I told you I would not debate the post you're responding to
here in this forum. If you are honestly interested in learning the whys
of your error, send email.
