subject: Macro needed!

If your problem is that you receive multiple carriage-returns
(check this with the equivalent of Word6's Tools, Options, View,
Show all) then record a macro which does an Edit, Replace,
Special, Paramark, ParaMark (that generates two "^p"s in the
find box) and Replace with Special, ParaMark (that generates one
"^p" in the replace box).
If your problem is that each line is bounded on the right-hand
side by a paragraph mark, then you need my "GlueLineaa" macro,
which hunts for lines whose last non-white-space character is a
lower-case alphabetic, and whose following line has a lower-case
alphabetic as the leading non-white-space character, and glues
them together assigning the paragraph style of the leading line.
There's also the "GlueLinea9" macro and its cousins, gluing lines
which end in lower-case alphabetic and start with a digit, etc.
I could post it here if that's OK with Jack.
