Our problems are many, but one of the greatest was caused by attempts to
fix the problems -- Lyndon John's "Great Society" programs halted the
decline of poverty in the United States and locked huge numbers of
people into the Welfare Cycle.

Apparently Johnson never read Chapter 5 of Saint Paul's First Epistle to
Titus. :-(
