The OP stubbornly refuses to get and set up the hardware
which would do what he wants. Both a second USB-Ethernet
adapter or a VLAN switch will do the separation.
Using a serial line for tunneling Ethernet fraemes is
more challenging, but doable. I have experience, had
to do it due to power limitations. An Ethernet interface
needs more power than we could feed to a device for
exlopsion-proof environment (ExI).
