First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for enlightening me on the many
varieties of Gregorians out there. Bob May's sounds particularly
interesting (any chance you have the plans on a web site Bob?) The only
references I have to it are in Ingalls ATM books, and was wondering if
anyone has any other sources of info. Not sure, but I might be tempted to
try to make one.
This leads to one more question...Ive seen lots of pictures of combination
greg/cass/newts but never any details on how the conversion works. I guess
it involves removing and adding secondaries every time you want to switch,
but wouldn't that involve a heck of a lot of collamation? Or is it
possible to build things so moving cass to newt or greg to new with little
or no fuss? Sure would be fun to switch from an F4 scope to an F 15
whenever you felt like it!
