I don't think much was done with Renegade in recent years except making it
work on 32bit systems and I believe it's now open source, but I'm not 100%
sure on that. I wouldn't even know if you still have to hex edit half of
your system to change ansis and whatnot. Maybe someone else can chime in on
that?

I seem to recall someone asking about that in the past. I may already be on

There's no reason to drop DB at all, but the more bugtesters for both
softwares the better! (I plan on joining the testing ranks for DB once the
Linux version is out).
