> Rick, much has begun happening all at once . . .
You have tossed the proverbial stone into the waters, and the ripples
are echoing back from the shore. From what you've said, it sounds to
me as if everything is pointing toward listening more closely to that
"inner prompt" of yours.

I am somewhat familiar with her case. If you have any information to
bring us up-to-date as regards her situation, please post it. She
sounds like a remarkable woman.
Specifically, you need an APPELLATE ATTORNEY, or one with considerable
experience with these highly technical proceedings.

This sounds like the type of organization _many_ people are looking
for. From time to time I hear about these groups, but never seem to
be able to locate them. Please convey to them that I would appreciate
more information about them.
On a related note, I understand that some efforts are underway among
some of the VOCAL people to distribute information via this medium.
You may wish to convey this opportunity to the Ingram people as well.
This forum, along with others related, would be an ideal way to
disseminate newsletters, press releases, etc., while keeping printing and
mailing costs at a minimum.
Regarding your sending me information, I would very much appreciate
it. You may pass my name and address along to other advocacy groups
you encounter as well. It is not possible to overload me with too
much information inwardly flowing. My new address is posted at the
end of this message.

A few ways to accomplish this. First, assuming the BBS you call has
all of the available conferences you wish to target, upon entering
your message here, in VFALSAC, you may, depending upon the BBS
software, be prompted at some point with the option to "Forward" your
message into another area. Lacking this feature, what I might suggest
is preparing your messages off line, and using the ASCII protocol to
upload the same text file into the various message areas, one-by-one.
If you lack access to a particular conference, post here, and leave me
a short note requesting that I forward it to XYZ conferences, and I'll
take care of it from my ned. I enjoy a quick turn-around time, your
message of slightly after midnight of the morning of the 24th having
arrived here at 2 P.M. the same day. If you'd like to cross-post to
WITCHHNT, an Internet message area, George Hero would be the one to
ask about that.

This is a wonderful idea. I would think such postings would be
appropriate here, but proper Netiquette dictates that you address your
inquiry to the moderator, Bob Hirschfeld. I would imagine that Valery
Frosty would agree to such postings in VOCAL, but I don't presume to
speak for her. As a general rule, moderators won't mind the posting
of a narrative detailing a falsely accused prisoners plight with a
short blurb tacked on near the end directing people toward a legal
defense fund.
> Finally, we also want to help inmate Herman Wallace . . .
Again, ask Bob for clarification as to the scope of this conference.
One approach that comes to mind is one of somehow labeling him as a
political prisoner, and posting the messages in ANEWS and P_NEWS.
Seeking to promote his cause through Amnesty International may be
another possible avenue, though the specifics of his case would likely
be the determining factor, as opposed to his guilt or innocence.
> I wish I could help you with the case you've undertaken to help . .
Not to worry, that case is well in hand. By the way, did my Netmail
find its way to you?
