That I'm quite aware of, just apply some of the RF theroy back to audio.
Also, there is a diference betwene dbv and dbV one of those is the new
nomeclature (in some circles) that refers to .775V 0db. Since dbv did
reference to 1 Volt I guess it's the dbV that references the .775V.
I can't ever remeber, but we did have a long disasertation on this at
a SBE meeting last year.

I've done no recording, but I have done my share of live work. I worked
with a sound company that worked out of the radio station in Atlanta.
We used to do national act concerts all the time. I usually got stuck
on foldback mix. The Senior mixer said it was because he didn't want
to have to work, so he took the mains. That was on the big shows
national stuff, on smaller local stuff I'd get stuck with it all and
have to mix both from the main mix platform. When it really got bad
was when thay gave me lights too!!
