I've been trying to figure that out for a while and the closest
I've come is this:
The problem seems to occur when I switch from a Win-OS/2 session
to the OS/2 desktop and do something the sound card (eg, system
sound). When I subsequently try to close Win-OS/2, the Windows
VDM seems to have trouble with the sound card and refuses to
close completely. I use GO to kill the zombie VDM at that point.
If I don't do anything in OS/2 to use the sound card while
Win-OS/2 is running the problem doesn't seem to happen.
