Our profiles are quite alike (except I have another 5 years on you 8-)
I will repeat my suggestion about Lidocaine 5% patchs (and I have
found aspercreme can be helpful but its a bit messier 8-( in case
you didn't see my other suggestion.

BTW I bought a new battery for my Olds car today that has a 7 year
warranty.  Positive thinking helps, Sean et al !
