 McCain betrayed his family when he kissed up to the man whose
 smear artists racially smeared his family.

 An affair may be forgivable, attacking his family is not. Not
 without one hell of a lot of contrition. Then it may be
 forgivable in Christian terms, but penance must still be paid.
 If Bush was contrite about the smears of McCain's family, he
 should have at least publically admitted it was all a lie.

 No, Edwards violated his wife's trust, McCain betrayed his
