They're pretty lousy around here, too.  24.0 is the lucky connect here, but 
when I upgraded to 33.6, I am now getting more of those, and an occasional 
26.4, plus, with my provider(who uses ISDN lines for their main dialups) I 
get more 28.8 connects than I used to(I usually got 26.4, with the occasional 
28.8.)
