subject: Telix`s annoying behaviour

Gidday
Whenever I fire up Telix for the first time on any day, the init
string that's echoed back is complete rubbish. Any subsequent time
it's fired up it's fine. It's just an annoyance because I like to see
if my modem has been init'd correctly. I have tried adding a few
tildes all to no avail. I'm running Dynalink 33k6s.
Any ideas, anyone?
