If you consider walls as livable structure, then I guess what you said is
close to accurate. I DID think to cover most of my equipment before the
hurricane hit. Good thing I did.

Yea, thats another topic thats worth at least its own echo.
If I had my rathers about it, I would have stayed in my home and all would be
just as it was. Opal, on the other hand, had a different view on what things
should be.
> are going to move away from the hurricane zone?
I am thinking about it. But I found the further one gets out of the hurricane
zone, the whiter the winters are. The only white I am used to seeing, is the
beach sand and one doesnt need shoes to walk in beach sand.

You got it backwards, believe it or not. The atari is going to need some
extensive work. I DID have to take the PC apart and clean all the water out
of it. It seems to have affected the BIOS a bit. I have to unhook the BIOS
battery every now and then to get the factory defaults back in order to make
it work properly. So I guess both have suffered, along with just about
everything else I owned. I know one thing though. The Red Cross are a fine
bunch of people. They are volunteers and seem to have more caring and
understanding than any of our government employees. That in itself shows me
exactly where our own government interests lay. Ironic,, isnt it?
